Who operates Snippa

Snippa is an independent service based in the United Kingdom. For privacy enquiries, contact hello@snippa.app.

Information we collect

If you join early access, we collect the email address you submit and the time of submission.

If you send the contact form, we collect your name, email address, selected reason and message, plus the time of submission.

There are no shopping accounts on this website, no live product searches, no payment processing, and no advertising cookies. Analytics are not included by default.

The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, user agent and server logs as part of running the site.

Why we use information

Early-access emails are used only to send product updates about Snippa. We do not sell this list.

Contact messages are used to reply to the request you sent.

Technical request data may be used to operate, secure and diagnose the website.

Lawful basis

Where you join the optional early-access list, we rely on your consent. You can ask to be removed at any time.

Where you send a contact form, we use that information to take the steps you have asked for. Operating and securing the website may also be a legitimate interest.

This page is a plain-language notice, not a certification of GDPR compliance.

How information is stored

Early-access emails are stored in a Postgres database used by this website when that database is configured. Contact messages are sent by email when the mail service is configured. If production storage or mail is not configured, the form will refuse the submission rather than pretend it was saved.

Service providers

Hosting, the waitlist database, and the email delivery service used for the contact form may process information on Snippa’s behalf in order to run this website. We do not list providers here that are not actually configured.

International transfers

If a hosting, database or email provider stores data outside the UK, that provider’s terms apply. This notice does not invent a specific transfer mechanism.

Retention

Early-access emails are kept until you ask to be removed, or until the list is no longer needed for launch updates, subject to any legal or security need to retain records.

Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to reply and keep relevant records.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, to restrict or object to certain processing, to data portability where it applies, and to withdraw consent for the early-access list.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. This site does not claim an ICO registration.

Cookies

Snippa does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. The website or its host may still use strictly necessary technical storage to operate the service.

If this notice changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
